Their fourth album "Dancing On The Wall" is a spectacular evolution for the band: dark, hard-edged, and euphoric fusion of dance-pop, post-punk, and new wave that channels the raw energy, anxiety, and political tension of modern life. Produced by Naomi McPherson, featuring the incisive lyricism of lead singer Katie Gavin and the honed pop techniques of Josette Maskin, the record blends introspective melancholy with propulsive, club-ready instrumentals. Exploring themes of desire, intimacy, and connection amidst global uncertainty, MUNA proves their ability to craft socially conscious music that still radiates exuberant, communal joy.
