Flying fingers. Plenty of personality. Ontario’s The Barrel Boys bring their rich harmonies, nimble picking and easygoing charm to The Vill on Friday, January 15 for an evening of bluegrass and roots music, up close. With fiddle, banjo, guitar and bass, this acoustic quartet draws from bluegrass, old-time, country and folk traditions to create a sound all their own. Expect soulful originals, spirited playing and the kind of vocal harmonies that make you lean in a little closer. Their music has carried them to festival stages and concert halls across Canada.
